Hi, I am Maryka

I grew up in the Richards Bay, I’m a South African based photographer living in Pretoria.

 

I laugh a lot and I love my family, dark chocolate and a good movie. I take photos of engagements, families, maternity and basically anything where people are involved.I have a passion and love for photography; capturing not only the precious events of the day, but also that seemingly insignificant, but lingering loving moment missed by most. ​Pictures are everlasting and reveal so much more than meets the eye. It captures the emotion and feeling meant at a certain moment, telling a story that goes far beyond the image border. 

 

My journey as a photographer has taught me so much like to appreciate the little things in life. It has given me the honor of sharing wonderful stories with friends, family and at times, complete strangers. Amongst being a photographer, I'm also a bit of a perfectionist and down to earth.
